Hot Lunch

  • Hot Lunch

    • Meal Cost (includes lunch, bottle of water, and salad)
      • Single Lunch
        1. $2.50 for Preschool
        2. $3.00 for Grades K-6
        3. $3.50 for Grades 7-12
      • 10 Lunch Package (pre-purchase 10 lunch credits at once & receive 1 bonus credit)
        1. $25.00/student for Preschool (receive credit of $27.50 on student’s lunch account)
        2. $30.00/student for Elementary (receive credit of $33.00 on student’s lunch account)
        3. $35.00/student for Grades 7-12 (receive credit of $38.50 on student’s lunch account)
      • Annual Lunch Pass (student receives lunch any day that lunch is served for entire school year)
        1. $400.00/student for Elementary
        2. $475.00/student for Grades 7-12
        3. Pre-payment is required
  • Extras (i.e. granola bars, applesauce, extra slices of pizza/hamburger, cookie, brownie, water bottle, etc)
    • Most items are $.50-$.75; Water Bottles are $1.00
    • Extra lunch items (i.e. extra slices of pizza, or hamburgers, etc) are $1.25 each
    • Cost of all extras are charged to the student’s lunch account and may be tracked by parents through their Sycamore Education portal

Lunchtime

  • Students are NOT permitted to leave campus for lunch
  • Students are NOT to be in the halls during their lunchtime
  • Students will NOT be allowed to phone parents for forgotten lunches/lunch money
    • If a Preschool-6 grade student forgets to bring their lunch, and does not have a lunch credit available, the school office will attempt to reach the parent/guardian for instruction;  if parent/guardian is not reached, the student will be allowed to eat hot lunch and the appropriate charge will be placed on the family lunch account for re-payment to the school
    • Grade 7-12 students without a lunch will need to make a decision as to whether or not to charge their lunch for the day, as the appropriate charge will be placed on the family lunch account for re-payment to the school

Closed Lunch Policy

  • Students are NOT permitted to leave campus for lunch
  • Requests for off-campus lunches must be accompanied by signed parental permission prior to the start of their lunch period

Lunch Visitors

  • Visitors (excluding parents/guardians) must call by 9:30am for approval to eat lunch with GCS students that day
  • Only parents/guardians, grandparents, alumni of GCS, and pastors from student’s churches are permitted to eat lunch with students.
    • A visitors’ lunch table is available for those wishing to come and have lunch with their student
  • All visitors must check in at the office and receive a badge from the office
  • If problems arise, individuals may be prohibited from the lunchroom
