National Honor Society

  • Membership in the NHS is one of the highest honors that can be awarded to a high school student
  • Students in grades 10-12 have an opportunity to be a part of the National Honor Society.
  • Selection is based on meeting criteria in each of the following categories:
    • Scholarship
    • Leadership
    • Character
    • Service
  • Selection is also based upon grade point average (which is 3.5 or higher) and teacher recommendations
    • Students will be placed on probation if GPA drops below a 3.5 during the school year
    • Students will be removed from NHS if caught cheating
